Are You Toenail Savy?

July 16th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in General Beauty

Have ever experienced fungus on your toenails? For those of you that have then you will know that you are not alone. And for those of you lucky few that have not then consider yourself exceptional because it’s a pain to remedy. Not so much as the physical pain but the embarrassment and frustration that accompanies this unsightly predicament.

You may be wondering how can a person be infected and how can I prevent from getting infected?
Sources of infection may vary but I’ll list the highly infectious ways here.

Public pools, gym, showers, and most public places. Fungus generally spread easier in these places so whenever you walk around these places make sure that you are wearing something to protect your feet like slippers or shoes. Never walk around these places bare foot, for the obvious reasons. Also take care when trimming your toenails. Do not cut too short in risking a cut under your nail that can potentially be a sweet spot for fungus to grow.
