Hydrotherapy

Using water to heal your aliments in a process called hydrotherapy. Through the use of water and the range of its temperature hydrotherapy can be used for the following:
- To help calm nerves.
- Alleviate soreness of muscles.
- To induce relaxation.
- Increase circulation of oxygen.
- Improve blood flow to all of the major organs of the body.
It is imperative to your success as a therapist to know and understand the different temperatures of the water that can cause an effect to the body. So before you enjoy a bathtub or foot soak here are some things to keep in mind.
- Safety first, practice checking the temperature of the water with a reliable thermometer.
- When soaking never allow your body to reach these extreme points of the chills or fatigue.
