Hydrotherapy

Using water to heal your aliments in a process called hydrotherapy. Through the use of water and the range of its temperature hydrotherapy can be used for the following:

  • To help calm nerves.
  • Alleviate soreness of muscles.
  • To induce relaxation.
  • Increase circulation of oxygen.
  • Improve blood flow to all of the major organs of the body.

It is imperative to your success as a therapist to know and understand the different temperatures of the water that can cause an effect to the body. So before you enjoy a bathtub or foot soak here are some things to keep in mind.

  • Safety first, practice checking the temperature of the water with a reliable thermometer.
  • When soaking never allow your body to reach these extreme points of the chills or fatigue.

Are You Toenail Savy?

Have ever experienced fungus on your toenails? For those of you that have then you will know that you are not alone. And for those of you lucky few that have not then consider yourself exceptional because it’s a pain to remedy. Not so much as the physical pain but the embarrassment and frustration that accompanies this unsightly predicament.

You may be wondering how can a person be infected and how can I prevent from getting infected?
Sources of infection may vary but I’ll list the highly infectious ways here.

Public pools, gym, showers, and most public places. Fungus generally spread easier in these places so whenever you walk around these places make sure that you are wearing something to protect your feet like slippers or shoes. Never walk around these places bare foot, for the obvious reasons. Also take care when trimming your toenails. Do not cut too short in risking a cut under your nail that can potentially be a sweet spot for fungus to grow.

Hair Revival

Long Black Hair

What does healthy hair look and feel like? A common question asked by many women and men. Well how do you tell if you have healthy hair? I’ll list a couple of things to look for below.

  • Silky.
  • Gleaming.
  • Suppleness.
  • Split ends and Breakage at a minimum.
  • Simple to comb.

If the list above does not describe your hair do not worry. There are a few things that I’ll outline below that you can do to help revive your hair.

  • Healthy eating.
  • When your hair is wet do not use a brush.
  • Avoid all chemicals especially chlorine.
  • When using hair products make sure you are using the best.

Just follow these simple rules and in no time you have the hair that you have always dreamed about.
